Hazel offers leadership team and one2one executive coaching to leaders seeking to engage their teams towards strategic goals. Her approach is systemic and innovative, embracing the inherent complexity and uncertainty in the wider context, whilst working to grow the inner resources, mindset and capabilities to create positive change.
She is the Founder & Managing Director of Courage2Lead, working with a small team to grow mindful strategic thinking, capability and courage in leaders and teams facing challenge. She is also a regular educator on the Leadership faculty of Duke Corporate Education (affiliated to Duke University & London School of Economics & a leading provider of Customised Business Education) and a visiting coach at Vlerick Business School in Belgium.
Hazel has over 30 years experience, initially working for 25 years in HR Business Partnership & Change Leadership with British Gas & SmithKline Beecham/GlaxoSmithKline where she reached the role of VP HR Business Leader for the Global Vaccines Supply Chain. She has worked extensively across Europe, North America and Asia, spending over 10 years living & working out of France & Belgium, and is bi-lingual in English and French.
Since 2010, Hazel has provided professional coaching, organisational design and leadership facilitation, primarily across the Pharmaceutical, Technology and Engineering sectors. She also coaches for Uprising, a government sponsored charity that opens pathways to power for young people in the UK from unrepresented groups.
Hazel has a BA in English & Linguistics from Nottingham University and a Postgraduate Diploma in HR from the University of the West of England. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development MCIPD and a Professionally Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation PCC. Her extensive leadership, HR & coaching training includes Energy Management, Innovation facilitation, MBTI (Step 2) and Systemic Constellations.
